SYMBOL LOGO
The band has a text logo which we used a typewriter font, and we decided to get a symbol logo to tie in with the band name and some of the album art concepts by using an image of an owl. I started with a painting I did of a barn owl to get the desired form and pose, then worked on refining and simplifying the lines down to a much more basic, simple and clean logo that is both bold and balanced giving a similar feel to the painting, but with a much more pure aesthetic. I am very pleased with this design, it works very well and looks great!
